The heat sinks of A.L.S. are designed for heat loads up to 120 W. Depending from the efficiency of the used diode module the device is suitable for those with optical output powers up to 50 W. The heat sink includes the metal block, a temperature sensor, the Peltier cooling element (TEC) and a fan for the heat dissipation. Everything is prepared for the customer to screw on his diode laser module with a standing housing and to make the electrical connection.
Every electrical driver can be used providing the required outputs. The easiest way, however, is the usage of the driver devices for Advanced Laser Diode Systems, where all the needed features are already included.
